‘We have consistently flirted with death’: Elon Musk wanted the Boring Co. to build a tunnel system below Las Vegas. Former employees say they feared for their lives while working there

So, I just read this crazy article about Elon Musk and his Boring Company wanting to build a tunnel system beneath Las Vegas. Apparently, former employees are saying they were legit scared for their lives while working there. Like, talk about a wild work environment, right?

Basically, Musk wanted to revolutionize transportation in Vegas by creating this underground tunnel network for cars to zip around in. But according to ex-employees, safety standards were non-existent, and they were constantly flirting with death down there. Some even claimed to have suffered from PTSD because of the intense working conditions.

It’s pretty insane to think that such a high-profile project could have such major safety issues. I mean, you would think with someone like Elon Musk behind it, everything would be top-notch. But I guess when you’re trying to revolutionize an industry, sometimes things can get a little messy.

In the end, it’s a stark reminder of the potential dangers that can come with pushing boundaries and trying to change the game. It’s one thing to be innovative and visionary, but it’s another thing to put people’s lives at risk in the process. Hopefully, lessons have been learned from this experience and future projects will prioritize safety above all else.
