‘Twitter Files’ Reporter Matt Taibbi Bails on Twitter After Elon Musk Makes it ‘Unusable’

So, you know how Twitter can be a bit of a dumpster fire at times? Well, it seems like things have gotten so bad that even reporters are starting to bail on the social media platform. In a recent article titled “Twitter Files,” journalist Matt Taibbi described how he had to delete his account after Elon Musk made it “unusable.”

According to Taibbi, Musk’s constant tweeting and engagement with trolls had turned his feed into a chaotic mess. The constant onslaught of notifications from angry Musk fans had become unbearable, and Taibbi found himself spending more time blocking people than actually using the platform to do his job.

While this might seem like a minor inconvenience, it’s actually a symptom of a larger problem: the toxic culture that has taken hold on social media. It’s no secret that Twitter can be a breeding ground for harassment and hate speech, and it’s up to all of us to do our part to make it a safer, more hospitable place for everyone.

Personally, I’ve had my fair share of negative experiences on Twitter. Whether it’s dealing with trolls, or just feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information, it can be tough to navigate at times. But at the end of the day, I still believe that social media has the potential to be a powerful force for good. By staying engaged and working to make it a better place, we can help ensure that the internet remains a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive space for people from all walks of life.
