Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey said company 'went south' after Elon Musk took over

So, I just came across this fascinating article that talks about Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey claiming that the company “went south” after Elon Musk took over. Can you believe that? Personally, I’m not entirely surprised, but it’s still pretty shocking to hear.

Basically, the article explains how Dorsey made this assertion during an interview with a leading newspaper, where he also expressed his disappointment with Twitter’s recent performance. He seemed to suggest that Musk’s involvement in the company was one of the reasons why it had lost its way, claiming that his focus on cryptocurrency and other issues had distracted from the platform’s core purpose.

Now, to be fair, I’m not sure if I entirely agree with Dorsey. I mean, Musk is a pretty accomplished businessman, and he’s done some amazing things with his other companies like Tesla and SpaceX. Plus, Twitter has always been a pretty dynamic and ever-changing platform, so I think it’s unfair to say that Musk’s influence was solely responsible for any decline in its performance.

That said, I do think it’s an interesting topic to consider, especially for those of us who use Twitter on a regular basis. It’s important to think about whether or not the platform is still serving its original purpose, and whether or not it’s heading in the right direction. After all, Twitter has become a fundamental part of the way we communicate and consume information, so it’s crucial that we keep it on the right track.

So, in conclusion, while I may not completely buy into Dorsey’s claims about Musk, I do think it’s worth paying attention to the broader issues at play here. At the end of the day, we all want Twitter to be a vibrant, engaging platform that promotes healthy dialogue and meaningful connections. And if that requires some tough conversations and critical self-reflection, then so be it.
