So, there’s this article I read about Tesla and their decision to remove parking sensors from their vehicles to save money, and boy was it a doozy. Basically, the results were catastrophic.
In a nutshell, Tesla decided to cut corners and remove essential parking sensors from their newer models in an attempt to save money. Needless to say, this didn’t go over well with Tesla owners who found themselves enduring countless scratches and dents while attempting to park their cars. The lack of parking sensors made it nearly impossible for drivers to gauge distances and parking spots, resulting in numerous accidents and fender benders.
Now, personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of Tesla, but this article definitely reaffirmed my stance on the company. I mean, sure, it’s great to be environmentally conscious and all, but not at the expense of safety and productivity.
All in all, it’s important to keep in mind that companies like Tesla have a responsibility to their consumers to provide reliable and safe products. Cutting corners and making decisions solely based on financial gain can have disastrous consequences, and it’s something we should all be aware of.
