So I found this hilarious article online, titled “Tesla Navigation thinks I’m driving a Cybertruck 😭😭😭”, and it had me cracking up. Essentially, this guy had been driving his Model 3 around for months, no problem, until one day he got a software update that made his car think it was actually a Cybertruck. You know, the super futuristic, geometric monstrosity that looks like it’s from a sci-fi movie.
Anyway, this poor guy was driving around with this giant Cybertruck icon on his screen, and all of the voice commands were referring to him as a Cybertruck driver. He even tried resetting the car twice, to no avail. Finally, he called Tesla customer service, and they were able to fix it remotely.
It’s a funny story, but it also got me thinking about the potential downsides of relying too heavily on technology in our cars. As cool as it is to have our cars constantly updating and improving themselves, there’s always the risk of glitches and bugs that can mess with our driving experience.
Overall, I think this article is a reminder to stay aware of our surroundings and not become too complacent behind the wheel. And, of course, to always take a good laugh at ourselves when things don’t go quite as planned.
