Tesla Cybertruck’s Aero Wheel Covers Are Chewing Up The Custom Tires, Will Likely Get Redesigned

So I came across this article about the Tesla Cybertruck’s Aero Wheel Covers and apparently, they’re causing some trouble. The thing that caught my eye was that these fancy wheel covers are actually chewing up the custom tires! Talk about a design flaw, right?

Basically, the article says that these wheel covers, which were supposed to improve the truck’s aerodynamics and increase its range, are actually causing some damage to the tires. People who have gotten their hands on the Cybertruck have reported that the covers are rubbing against the tires and causing them to deteriorate faster. Yikes!

Now, I don’t personally own a Cybertruck (I wish!), but I have seen a lot of hype around it. And let me tell you, people were really excited about those Aero Wheel Covers. They thought they were not only stylish but also functional. I mean, who wouldn’t want better range on their electric truck, right?

But it seems like Tesla might need to go back to the drawing board on this one. They will likely have to redesign the wheel covers to prevent them from damaging the tires. After all, nobody wants to shell out big bucks for a Cybertruck and then have to replace the tires sooner than expected.

So, the big takeaway here is that while the Cybertruck is still an exciting and innovative vehicle, it’s important to keep an eye out for these kinds of issues. Design flaws happen, even to the best of them. Hopefully, Tesla will take this feedback into consideration and come up with a solution that doesn’t compromise the performance and longevity of the tires.

In the meantime, if you’re planning on getting a Cybertruck, maybe hold off until they sort out this whole Aero Wheel Cover situation. You don’t want to be driving around with shredded tires, do you? Trust me, it’s not a good look.
