Tesla cancels large pie order, hurting small San Jose business

So, there was this crazy article I read about how Tesla ended up canceling a huge order of pies from a small San Jose bakery, and it totally screwed them over. Basically, this local bakery had been supplying Tesla with hundreds of pies every week, but then out of nowhere, Tesla decided to cut the order. As a result, the bakery was left with a ton of unsold pies and lost a big chunk of their revenue.

It’s pretty wild to think about how one big company like Tesla canceling an order can have such a huge impact on a small business. It just goes to show how interconnected everything is in the business world, and how even a seemingly small decision can have major consequences for someone else.

I remember hearing about a similar situation with a friend who runs a small catering business. They had a big contract lined up with a company for a holiday party, but then the company backed out last minute. It was a major hit for my friend’s business, and they had to scramble to find new clients to make up for the lost income.

It’s crazy to think about how these kinds of things happen all the time in the business world, and it just goes to show how important it is to support small businesses and think about the ripple effects of our decisions.

So yeah, it’s definitely a bummer that the bakery got screwed over by Tesla, but it’s also a good reminder of how important it is to support local businesses and to think about the impact of our actions on others.
