The United States has recently launched its secretive space plane, the X-37B, in a mission that is set to last several years. What makes this mission particularly intriguing is the fact that, unlike its previous six missions, the X-37B will now be positioned at a much greater distance from Earth, thanks to the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket.

This news grabbed my attention due to the mysterious nature of the X-37B, as well as the involvement of SpaceX in the mission. So, what exactly do we know about this extraordinary undertaking?

The X-37B, also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), is an unmanned spacecraft operated by the United States Air Force. Its purpose and activities while in orbit remain classified, leading to speculation and curiosity in the scientific community and beyond. The exact duration of this new mission has not been disclosed, but previous missions have lasted anywhere from 224 to 780 days.

The primary difference in this mission lies in the launch vehicle used. This decision allows the X-37B to be positioned at a significantly higher orbit than ever before.
