SpaceX Dragon cargo caspule departs space station

I just read this really interesting article about the SpaceX Dragon cargo capsule and how it just departed the International Space Station. Basically, it was up there for the past month or so, delivering all sorts of supplies and experiments to the astronauts living on board.

But what I found really cool was that this was the 23rd time an uncrewed Dragon spacecraft has visited the ISS, and the capsule was able to return a record amount of science and research back to Earth. This is a big deal because it means scientists can continue to conduct important experiments on everything from medicine to materials science.

Personally, I think it’s amazing that we have the capability to not only send supplies and humans to space, but also to bring back valuable research that can benefit us here on Earth. Plus, it’s just plain cool to think about a little capsule flying back to Earth from the ISS at thousands of miles per hour.

Overall, the article impressed upon me the incredible advances we’ve made as a society in space exploration, and how vital it is to continue pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible.
