So, I was reading this article about Tesla’s value being driven by vehicle autonomy, and it was pretty interesting. Essentially, Elon Musk is saying that having fully self-driving cars will be the main factor in Tesla’s long-term success.
From what I gathered, Tesla has been investing heavily in autonomous technology for years now, and they’re getting pretty close to making it a reality. Musk even predicts that within a few years, Tesla owners will be able to summon their cars from across the country with just their phones.
As someone who’s been working in the automotive industry for a while now, I can definitely see the value in autonomous vehicles. It’s a huge step forward in terms of safety and convenience, and it’s going to completely change the way we think about transportation.
Of course, there are also some potential downsides to consider. For one, there’s the issue of job loss - if all jobs that involve driving are automated, that’s going to be a pretty big blow to the workforce. And then there’s the question of liability - who’s responsible if an autonomous car gets into an accident? These are the kinds of issues that we need to be thinking about as we move forward with this technology.
Overall, though, I think it’s pretty clear that vehicle autonomy is going to be a major player in the future of transportation. And it looks like Tesla is at the forefront of that movement.
