Oh man, have you heard about the Tesla crash in Santa Clara? It’s crazy. A mother and daughter were killed when their Tesla Model S crashed into a tree and caught fire.
From what I gathered, the car was traveling at high speeds when it veered off the road and hit the tree. When police officers arrived, they found the car on fire, and firefighters had to use over 30,000 gallons of water to put it out.
What’s even more heartbreaking is that the mother was a Googler and a beloved member of the local community. It’s just so tragic.
I know Tesla has been under fire lately for some of their safety features, but it’s hard to know for sure what caused this accident. I’ve heard that some people think it could be related to autopilot, but we’ll have to wait and see what the official investigation finds.
It’s always a sobering reminder of how dangerous driving can be and how important it is to always prioritize safety. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the victims.
