Judge lowers bond for Florida man accused of threatening Tesla gigafactory

So, I came across this wild article about a Florida man who got in trouble for threatening a Tesla gigafactory. Basically, this guy was arrested for allegedly sending threatening messages to the company, but then the judge decided to lower his bond from $200,000 to $100,000.

From what I gathered, the man claimed he was just talking smack and didn’t actually intend to harm anyone. The article mentioned that he has a history of mental health issues and substance abuse, which could have played a role in his behavior.

Personally, I think it’s important to take mental health seriously and not brush off threatening behavior as just harmless talk. It’s a tough situation all around, but it’s good to see the judge taking into account the man’s circumstances when deciding on his bond amount. Let’s hope he gets the help he needs and learns from this experience.
