So I just read this article about how Elon Musk wants to personally approve all new hires at Tesla as he tries to cut down on his Twitter time. Can you believe it? The guy is so busy running all of these companies, but he still wants to make sure that everyone he hires has his stamp of approval.
Basically, the article talks about how Musk is trying to reduce distractions in order to focus on the important stuff, like getting cars delivered on time and building rockets to send people to Mars. He’s been pretty wild on social media over the years, but apparently he’s trying to rein it in a bit. And one way to do that is to make sure he’s involved in every hiring decision at Tesla.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I think that sounds kind of intense. I mean, I get wanting to be involved in the hiring process to some extent, but approving every single new employee? That seems like a lot of work. But then again, Elon Musk doesn’t really do things halfway, does he?
Overall, though, I think this is an interesting development. It shows that Musk is still trying to be hands-on with his companies, even as they grow and expand. And as someone who’s always curious about what’s going on behind the scenes at Tesla, I’m excited to see what other changes are in store. Who knows, maybe next he’ll want to approve all of the snacks in the vending machines or pick out the exact shade of blue for the break room walls.
