So, I just read this crazy article about Elon Musk involved in a highway crash with his Tesla Cybertruck and Tesla Model 3. Basically, they were doing some test runs on a closed track in Texas when the two vehicles collided. Luckily, no one was hurt, but it’s definitely not a great look for Tesla.
From what I gather, Musk himself was driving the Cybertruck and the Model 3 was being driven by someone else. The crash happened when the Cybertruck took a turn too closely and hit the side of the Model 3. Both vehicles sustained damage, but it seems like the Cybertruck came out worse.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t trust myself to drive a vehicle that looks like a futuristic tank on wheels. I mean, the Cybertruck is literally made with “armor glass” and bulletproof metal. It’s impressive, but also a bit intimidating.
In all seriousness though, this incident raises some concerns about the safety and reliability of these vehicles. It’s one thing to have a glitch in the infotainment system, but it’s another thing entirely when it comes to the potential for physical harm.
Overall, this article highlights the need for ongoing testing and improvement in the realm of electric cars. As someone who cares about sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, I believe that electric cars are an important step forward. However, safety should always be a top priority.
