So I came across this interesting article about Elon Musk’s latest project, The Boring Company’s Vegas Loop. Basically, the idea is to create an underground tunnel system that will transport people around Las Vegas in electric vehicles, thus reducing traffic on the roads.
According to the article, Musk recently tweeted about what seems to be progress on the project, with a video showing a Tesla Model 3 going through the tunnel at high speeds. Apparently, the system can reach speeds of up to 150 mph, which would definitely cut down travel time in busy areas like the Strip.
Now, I know the idea of underground transportation might sound a bit futuristic, but it’s actually not new. I’ve been to Vancouver, Canada, and they have a similar system called the SkyTrain, which is an elevated train system that runs throughout the city. It’s really convenient and cuts down on traffic congestion, so I can see why Musk would want to do something similar in Vegas.
Overall, I think this is a really interesting project to keep an eye on, especially since it’s not just about creating a cool new technology, but also about improving the quality of life for people by reducing traffic and air pollution. Plus, who doesn’t love the idea of speeding through Vegas in an electric vehicle?
