Caught on camera: Man caught keying Tesla in Pompton Lakes

So, I stumbled across this article about a guy who got caught keying a Tesla in Pompton Lakes. Basically, this jerk who was walking by this parked Tesla on the street saw the car had a dent and decided to take out his frustration by keying the car. But little did he know, the car had a crazy high-tech security system with cameras all around it, so the whole thing was caught on video.

The owner of the car saw the footage and posted it on social media, hoping to catch the culprit. And sure enough, someone recognized the guy and he was caught and charged with criminal mischief.

Honestly, I don’t understand why people feel the need to damage other people’s property like that. Like, what did the Tesla ever do to him? And to have it all caught on camera? That’s some instant karma right there.

But on a more serious note, it’s scary to think about the possibility of someone damaging your car for no reason. It just goes to show how important it is to have some kind of security system installed. And hopefully, this guy learns his lesson and thinks twice before doing something like that again.
