So, I came across this article about a guy in California whose Tesla caught fire while he was driving on the highway. Apparently, the flames started coming out of the front of the car and he had to pull over to the side of the road. Pretty scary stuff, if you ask me.
According to the article, the car had been fitted with an aftermarket Dynamic Air Suspension (DAS) system, which may have been the cause of the fire. The company that installed the system is now under investigation to see if they followed the correct safety protocols.
It’s interesting to see how we always assume that electric cars are safer and more reliable than gasoline-powered ones, but incidents like this remind us that they’re not foolproof. It’s important to remember that with any vehicle, you need to ensure that modifications and upgrades are done properly and with the right equipment.
Personally, I don’t know much about cars, but I always thought Teslas were pretty cool. I guess this just goes to show that anything can happen, no matter how advanced the technology. All we can do is stay informed and take precautions to make sure we’re safe on the road.
